The Z House follows the concept of the old Mesopotamian temple, Ziggurat. Each pathway leads to a specific designated platform on different levels, giving each destination its paramount significance. There are three distinct destinations in Z house: the reception hall, the courtyard, and the family terrace. The main entrance faces a wide set of stairs that gradually decreases in width as the staircase ascends, leading to the main reception hall. A declining ramp leads to a placid courtyard on the lower level, whereas another flight of stairs descends and leads to the family terrace.

The façade is abstracted into a white monolithic form.  The minimalist aesthetics highlight the experience over appearance. The house wraps around itself to create a serene courtyard, providing a tranquil retreat that can be viewed from all levels. This introverted form provides privacy to the residents and allows for daylight from the large windows to flow through the spaces.
